It's redundant to have two forums when I'm not working on anything besides Exodus. Why have a GameBrewers forum? If you vote to keep this forum alive, please post telling why.

Oh yeah, also, it wouldn't delete your accounts, your post counts, or even the forums or topics. Just lock the forum, disallowing logging in or posting.

The whole thing. But everything would stay the same as it is, just "frozen in time", with nothing happening.

This is the first I've heard of Smiley Search being discontinued. Back in October, when we voted on the leaderboard poll, I don't think any of us realized how hard a leaderboard would be to create.

I'd be cool with a Beta version of smiley search (much like torch online) without a leaderboard. It can always be added later.

Anyways, if you still decide to get rid of Smiley Search and Dakingru, then I would change my vote to a "yes".

P.S. Is this the same EO board that we had in 2007-2008, or is this board different?

I would have finished Smiley Search, but as soon as I updated my Ogre version the game began to fall apart - my code didn't work anymore, and even when I got it working I ended up with errors that I had never seen before and I couldn't fix them no matter what I tried. Sure I could have tried another 3 days to get it working, but I figured that I was much safer moving to EO (which I love working on, and has a much more organized code structure).

The only reason I can think to keep it is the OT forum. But is there any reason to deactivate it either?

Well, if we deactivate the forum then we don't have to worry about coming here to check for new posts.
