Concept Art (Dakingru)

My first bit of concept art. This is Takelak, a Ttaring master of hand-to-hand fighting. He will be one of the eight starting warriors in Dakinru: Heroes. He will also be the one of the five Ttaring Masters in Exodus Online, as he is incredibly fierce and strong.

I know I was the one that resized the image for you, but a smaller size would have worked better. Maybe a maximum width of about 550-600 pixels. Otherwise it overlaps stuff.

OC, it probably took about an hour. I had a lot of fun though. Most of it was made up, because I modeled it after a jaguar, and added tiger stripes. Plus, it was actually yawning, so its tongue was sticking out really far, covering the bottom half of the mouth. But I plan on more art as soon as I have time.

It looks kind of like a half-tiger half-walrus.

Anyways, an hour is pretty good. I wonder how much concept art could be completed in 1 day. ^_^

Ok, here is my second. This is Thorn (I know, original). He is a captain in the Dakingru army, and a bodyguard to the prince. This one took much more improvisation, because of his helmet. Also, unfortunately, actual big cats don't have shoulders!

Exactly, Dakingrus can. Otherwise...he wouldn't have drawn them on...

His point was that the picture was based on a real picture of a jaguar/leopard/something, but he had to "make up" shoulders and a helmet.
